Windows 11 may be Available as a Free Upgrade not only for Windows 10 but also for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users

However, Windows 11 has been set launch globally on June 24 but it's design has been already leaked on internet. This new Windows update may be also available for older windows OS users.

Windows 11 could be available as a free upgrade for not just for Windows 10 users but also for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users. As it was previously said by Microsoft that the new Window will unlock more opportunities for developers and creators. so it might be available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users also. It was aimed at bringing more and more users to the latest Windows operating system and safely move people from older platforms that were no longer supported by Microsoft.

The Verge's has leaked screenshots of the design elements of Windows 11. A lot of design inspiration is taken from the Windows 10X that was originally built for dual screens but was scrapped later. The app icons appear in the centre of the taskbar, the tray area has been cleaned up, and a new Start button and menu have been incorporated. You can place the app icons and the Start menu in the centre of the taskbar or move them to the left side. There are no Live Tiles in the Start Menu. It has a simplified design with pinned apps, recent files, and shut down and restart options.

In the past, Microsoft has run a free upgrade programme for Windows 10 that enabled users on Windows 7 and later versions to move to the latest operating system. This time it is also expected that this free update of Windows 11 is not only available for Windows 10 users but also for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users.
